9/13/2023 0 Comments Teen wolf movie paramount![]() ![]() We have a lot of the fan art on the walls of our post-production office for the film. And plenty of fans created artwork inspired by the show that appeared in Tumblr communities and other online forums. During the series’ run, plenty of our viewers wrote and published their own fanfiction online. Teen Wolf fans are ferocious, no pun intended. I, strangely, feel like a rock star and get recognized a lot (even once on a family cruise). It’s been more than five years since the series finale, and the reception we get at events like Comic-Con to this very day make the cast feel like rock stars. While I wasn’t fully thinking about the show through a franchise lens then, I think today it's more of a possibility than ever. I always felt as though there were more stories to tell though, which is one of the reasons why I left the series finale open-ended-it left the door open to so many other possibilities. ![]() There was talk of some spin-offs when we were filming, including one about a young Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin), but they never got off the ground because we were so focused on the core series. ![]() It was only after the show ended that we found out it was a massive hit thanks to millions watching on their phones and computers. When the series originally aired on MTV from 2011 to 2017, streaming technology was still in its infancy. So it’s nice to be present and fully aware.” ![]() I’m sober now, and it was the first time I was in ‘Teen Wolf’ sober. And that’s what I brought to Scott McCall. In an interview with Variety, Posey spoke about returning to his role as Scott McCall, the True Alpha werewolf and leader of the pack, after five years of sobriety, saying: “The older you get – the more comfortable you get as a person, you settle into yourself more.
